Test Information
Here is some brief information on the two tests you will be required to pass to obtain your full driving licence. More information can be found by visiting the Driving Standards Agency website at www.driving-tests.co.uk
The Theory Test
This is carried out on touch screen computers and consists of 35 multiple choice questions, of which you are required to answer at least 30 correctly in the 40 minutes allowed.
Theory tests can be booked over the telephone if you have a debit or credit card, or by post using the application forms available at all test centres. The cost of this test is £15.50.

The Driving Test
The driving test lasts for around 40 minutes and you will pass if the examiner is satisfied that you will be safe to drive unsupervised.
You will be required to carry out just two of the four set manoeuvres and possible an emergency stop.
Please remember that you must pass the Theory Test before you can book a Driving Test.

Important Information
Remember when taking either test you must bring BOTH parts of the new style photo driving licence, and if you have the old style licence then you must bring that together with suitable photographic proof of identity i.e. passport.
